Romantic Sunriver, Oregon Fall Wedding

Where do I even begin?! I remember the day I got Melissa’s inquiry in my email. I read it over several times, convinced we were the same person. Her vision, story, dream dress… it was all too good to be true! I was out of state for work, and I read over the email to my assistant, so excited about this romantic fall wedding… to my complete surprise, my assistant knew Melissa and Nick! She told me instantly, “that wedding will be a BLAST! You have to do it!”

Melissa and I clicked right away. She found out she was pregnant shortly into planning her wedding, and I was SO happy for her + their growing family (there’s really nothing more I love than being a mom, and becoming a mama is one of the most beautiful journeys!). Melissa was some sort of crazy superhero of a woman, and was able to work full time, plan a wedding, and grow a human…. Their wedding was only a few WEEKS after their daughter was born (I know! LOOK AT HER)! Nothing could stop this woman from planning her dream day, with her dream man, and now their dream come true daughter.

My assistant also wasn’t wrong… their wedding was a CELEBRATION! A seriously joyful, fun, and happy day (with the most epic reception dance party EVER).

The entire day was full of emotion. So many happy tears, I felt so honored to be a part of such a beautiful love story. The amount of support this couple has… is OUT OF THIS WORLD.

And to top it all of, lucky for me, the entire wedding was STUNNING. Oregon in the fall is always my favorite time, but Nick and Melissa’s vision was a dream come true. So many moody earthly tones, low light, romance, and just an overall cozy and intimate vibe. It was seriously a day I will NEVER ever forget, and I’m so thankful that this couple came in to my life.
