Brittany & Robbie’s Portland studio maternity photos were so so beyond special.
The Couple: Brittany & Robbie
I actually met Brittany back in college! We had one class together and clicked right away. She was a University of Oregon cheerleader and I loved following along on her journey! Our paths crossed again when I started photography when her & Robbie modeled for my FIRST EVER workshop at the Oregon Coast! It was so fun, and they have really just believed in my business and my art from day 1.
They’ve been praying for a sweet baby for years. The day Brittany received a positive pregnancy test, I got a text from her and was so excited!
We wanted her maternity session to really showcase the beauty of pregnancy and the amazing way a woman’s body changes. We wanted to strip it down and honor the miracle that is carrying a human inside you. And wow did we do just that – these are some of my favorite maternity photos ever.
The Portland Studio: Daylight Creative Space
We did the majority of Brittany & Robbie’s maternity session at the Daylight Creative Space, a natural light photo studio in Portland. I’ve been loving shooting in studios lately because of the variety of options we get for locations + lighting, and how creative I can get in them! This space is definitely somewhere you need to consider for your own Portland maternity photos.
Unique Maternity Outfit Inspiration for Your Maternity Photos
Brittany did an absolutely phenomenal job with her outfits for this maternity session! She started off in a comfortable & cozy set from Calvin Klein, paired with rolled-up denim jeans. Then she wore one of the most insane & amazing maternity outfits I’ve ever seen – a fluffy, blacke tulle robe! Can you believe she got it off of Amazon?! You can find a similar one here!
Once we were done in the studio, we headed to Graham Oaks Nature Park in Wilsonville. She changed into a flattering brown dress from Boohoo, then into a stunning white floral dress from Altar’d State. This was another favorite maternity outfit of mine!
