A wedding day timeline is not only crucial for the bride and groom, but I’ve found that creating my own timeline for my clients ensures I’m getting enough time for photos! I’ve realized in the past that if I don’t carve out designated times for all photos (bridal party, family, first look, etc), then those things get cut short. Not ideal! I created a timeline a few years ago, for a friend who was getting married. When I started my business, I was shocked that so many of my brides were going in to their big day with no plan! I would always ask for a copy of the day of timeline, and more often than not, the response was “Oh, we don’t have a timeline.” So, I altered mine until it felt just right, and started giving it to each of my brides.
It’s been a HUGE blessing! Not only for me, but for them! It makes the day significantly less stressful, and everyone is able to be on the same page. When my brides are working with a coordinator, venue director, etc, I will send my timeline to them directly, and they will add their own details, and send it back. Together we’re able to create seamless and organized full day schedules for our brides! And I can be confident that photos aren’t getting cut. Win. Win!
This purchase includes 2 day of timelines (one with a first look, and one without) in both JPEG and PSD forms. You can easily alter + customize the timeline to fit your own style / duration / etc. These timelines are meant for an 8 hour day, but if you offer more or less than that, you can easily adjust to spread out or shorten the time frames.
I hope this helps you all as much as it’s helped me and my clients!
