Where are you located? Are you willing to travel for shoots or weddings?
We are located in Eugene/Springfield, but ALWAYS willing to travel. I love to explore new places, and my passport is always open! I am willing to travel up to 100 miles for weddings at no additional cost. For out of state weddings, or for a quote on a location further than a 100 mile radius, contact us for rates!
Do you have recommendations for wardrobe?
I always recommend at least 2 outfit changes! I love options! You and your partner don’t have to match, but I do like to suggest you coordinate. Try to avoid flashy, graphic, or patterned clothes. Plaid is ok, but too much pattern doesn’t always photograph well. You should feel comfortable and confident! Wear something that makes you feel your best! I recommend an outfit that represents you, and I also usually ask my couples to consider bringing a nicer option (dresses, skirts, button downs, slacks). These photos are meant to be cherished and special!

How long is your turn around time for photos?
I realize that most of us (*cough* me *cough*) are very impatient. So, the day of your shoot I will upload a sneak peek! It’s nice to have a little instant gratification 🙂 For portrait sessions (engagements/seniors), it takes me 3 weeks to cull through and edit your images. For weddings, you can expect your images back between 6-8 weeks.
How will we get our images?
I use a website called PASS, which is an online gallery that allows you to download, share, and order prints from directly. The website is completely free, private, and view-able for 10 years! For wedding clients, your images will be delivered to you in a custom packaged USB!
I’m really nervous! I hate getting my photo taken! Any advice?
Don’t stress! Nearly EVERYONE is a little nervous to get their photo taken! It is my job (and my goal) to make all my clients feel comfortable and natural in front of my camera. I try to steer away from “posing” you, but I definitely give direction. My end goal is to capture your love/romance/moment in time genuinely. I tell my clients to pretend like I’m not there. Just engage and let me capture the moments you might miss. I’m also very uncoordinated and overjoyed when I shoot, so rest assured, you’ll be laughing a lot…effortlessly. haha.
What equipment do you use to shoot & edit with?
I’m a canon girl, completely! I shoot with a canon 5D Mark iii, and use prime lenses. For editing I use both lightroom and photoshop. I tend to adjust color/contrast as needed, and I always want to make you (the client/model) look your best! I do not change anything about you, but rather, I try and make you look like the best version of you! Yes, I will remove acne and those little imperfections you’re probably worried about. Don’t fret!
What locations do you use?
I have several locations around the Eugene & Springfield area that I like to use. However, the location of your session will be based off of what you want! River? Country? Barn? Field? We will talk before your session and find a perfect spot for your shoot!
